Jemma Sayers

event planner

Be open to imagination and allow great ideas to unfold.

I am currently studying the event and wedding planner course. I am a mum of 2 (the youngest of which is 10 months old), so at the moment, i am not working, but i will be looking to work when i have completed this course.
My personal approach to design, is to be open minded and look for ideas everywhere i go. I will try my hardest to make an event exactly how a client envisions it to be. I am one to learn from mistakes (mine and others) so my work can only improve.

I come from Guildford in the UK. My education started at a school called Burpham Primary School, from there i went to Geaorge Abbott secondary school which i attended for years 7, 8 and 9. I then went to The Howard of Effingham School for years 10 and 11. I recieved 4 C grade GCSEs.
I didnt complete a college course as i started work as soon as i left school, working in a small shoe shop in Cobham. I was there for 3 1/2 years. I then went to work in the department store House of Fraser in Guildford, also for 3 1/2 years.
I then started work in a childrens nursery called Christopher Robin day nurseries, i was there from January 2008 - December 2011. I left this job as i was unable to work there with my 2 children which are under 3, so neither go to school yet.

The only services i currently offer are my willingness to be in this line of work and my eagerness to learn.
I can also offer my ideas which will only expand and become more detailed with experience.
