Janice Barnes is a long time resident of Central Florida. She has worked in the service industry off and on for over a decade. It is through this that her passion for event planning was realized. Creating something beautiful from the inception to the finale and seeing the joy on a clients face when they enter their venue is what she truly loves.
She attended Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York in the early eighties and studied retail Business Management.
In 1989 attended the Florida Hospital School of Practical Nursing. Receiving LPN license in 1991.
Her work experience includes various jobs in retailing and after receiving an LPN certificate she worked on the Women's Pavilion at Florida Hospital in Orlando Florida.
This was followed by working as an LPN at Anderson Allergy and Asthma.
Janice spent the next several years working from home, raising four children and performing volunteer work. This work included volunteering at the local elementary, middle and high school while her children were in attendance. During that time she was a PTA board member and served as a community service chairperson where she organized the holiday food drive, fund raisers, and the Angel Tree Project. She also organized and hosted the elementary school's Talent Show for two years. Most recently she served as the Boone High School marching band booster's secretary for two years and the bands Hospitality Committee Chairperson for one year. Additionally, Janice also has experience planning a number of corporate holiday and retirement parties. Her experience also includes a number of large birthday parties, including sweet sixteen, forty, fifty and seventy five year milestone celebrations. She has also planned and executed several themed banquets.

Whether assistance is needed with creating a theme, finding a vendor, custom invitations, menu cards, ceremony programs, or reviewing and negotiating a contract.
Fees for this type of service will be determined by hours of assistance required.
