Planning a wedding is the biggest commitment, not only for the bride and groom, but for the planner to make this day to be remember forever.

My name is Martha. I'm married and have three beautiful princesses. I have always told my husband that I would like to be a wedding planner, and he came up with the name Las princesas Event planner. How cool is that!. My goal as a new wedding planner is to listen to the bride and groom and their families to make this day most enjoyable and lasting.
I had the opportunity to plan two weddings last Spring and Summer and I really enjoyed every moment of the planning and helping the brides and families to cherish that moment. But on Valentine's day this year, my oldest daughter got married and I truly fall in love with the idea of continue planning weddings and events; Families, friends and the bride and groom put so much effort to make this day so special and I believe it is an honor to be part of this memorable time.

I'm from Colombia South America, English is my second language. I graduated from Belmont University, I'm a volunteer at local center in Nashville to help mothers in need, I love missions, enjoy reading, walking, and spend time with my family.

I'm very excited to be able to be part of the wedding planning experience, Planning a wedding is more than decor, flowers and protocols. It is more about how families that will come together to celebrate their children unity and to see them grow and start a new family together. As I was part of the most two beautiful weddings that I planned last year during Spring and Summer I learned that I need to listen to the concerns, dreams and ideas of the bride, groom, mother or father to have the best memory of their children's wedding day.

I read from someone that as a wedding planner one will become a best friend, part of the family, mediator, financial adviser, a preacher and so the list continue; to me it was an honor to be part of such important part of their wedding day and I look forward to continue planning weddings, birthdays and other events to make people lives easier and enjoyable.
Taking the course how to become a wedding planner with QC planning school is really helping to be more careful and get excited for this new path in my life.
