My name is Carolyn Suazo, event planner of San Diego. I provide a professional service that will guide and assist my clients to achieve the idea/vision of their upcoming event. I make it priority to get the know my clients and to provide them with piece of mind.
I have lived in San Diego my whole life. I grew up with parents who loved to host parties. My mom was all about the decorations and my dad was all about the food. I can always here my dad saying, "its all about having enough and presentation". I guess you could say from an early age I've been envolved with event planning.
From my prior employment to today I've been actively involved in planning company events. I've coordinated company picnics, offsite all-hands meetings, holiday events, retirement celebrations and fundraisers. With these events I've scouted locations, handled the ordering of food, assisted with room set-up and decorations, created invitations, distributed invites and monitored headcounts. Held meetings with all parties involved to make sure all details were being met and on schedule.
Outside of work I have coordinated weddings, birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, funeral, and a high school graduation celebration.
I am currently enrolled in the QC School of Event Planning. This school is providing all the tools necessary to be the best of the best in event planning.
- oversee the details planned for the day are done and on schedule
- room/area is set up accordingly
- interact with onsite vendors (if any)
- assist with clean-up if necessary

- create a schedule
- create a budget
- assist with choosing venue
- send out invites; keep track of headcount
- liason between client and vendors
- oversee room set-up
- day-of coordinator
- work with client to determine what assistance is needed and coordinate accordingly
