Eco-friendly Wedding Planning Solutions
Tammy Truong is a 2005 graduate of Indiana University, majoring in marketing and international studies. After graduation she joined the Procter & Gamble organization where she managed an oral care business worth over $1,000,000. She left the company after two years to pursue her love of learning about different peoples and different cultures by joining the U.S. Peace Corps, and she served as a micro-enterprise development volunteer in Bolivia, South America. There she worked with women’s groups and community organizations to create income-generation opportunities. After an unfortunate evacuation of the country due to civil unrest and political protests, Tammy transferred to The Gambia, West Africa, where she worked as an environmental and natural resources volunteer.
In her time abroad, Tammy took part in many celebrations and was captivated by the elaborate costumes, music, and dance of Incan festivals in the Andes, and the drums and rhythms and happiness of all the ceremonies in West Africa used to celebrate major life milestones. She feels that she has a great opportunity to combine her skill at planning events and her interest in cultural celebrations by working as a wedding and special events consultant for Green Lily where she hopes to help with expansion into ethnic markets.

Testimonials
The planning was flawless and my wedding went off without a hitch. Tammy was wonderful, and even surprised us by decorating the honeymoon suite with flower petals.
