LEGACY Events & Catering offers full-service event management and catering services for all occasions. With over 15 years of experience in corporate event management, small and large-scale catering, event decor and even custom cake orders, LEGACY can elevate even the simplest event to a spectacular one.

Stephanie Piché is a seasoned event coordinator and caterer with more than 15 years of experience. Her expertise ranges from corporate retreats and seminars, weddings and other social occasions , recipe development, non-profit fundraising, volunteer coordination and catering for small and large-scale functions.
Beginning her business training at Cambrian College in Sudbury, she graduated with Honours in Business Administration (Marketing) 1994 and won two prestigious academic awards.

Years later, her career path took her to an administrative and marketing position with Investors Group Financial Services. During the 8 years with Investors Group and working in various capacities, she helped to create many of IG Sudbury’s most memorable and successful client and charitable events. She was also responsible for the catering duties at many of these events and her love of food and entertaining soon became her claim to fame.
Stephanie also learned during this time that volunteering is an integral part of being part of a community and served on the Organizing Committees for the Sudbury Dragon Boat Festival for its first 5 years.
To gain more experience in large-scale events, in 2006, she left Investors Group to accept an Event Coordinator contract position with The Lung Association to create its first 17-day-long calendar of events for The Festival of Trees at Market Square. Here, Stephanie learned the intricate workings of the non-profit sector and how to wear several “hats” at once to complete a multi-faceted project. Many of these “hats” also included catering duties in various capacities.
Motivated by her reignited passion for catering and event planning, she decided to take a few years away from the workforce to concentrate on business planning, education and to gain more valuable entertaining and catering experience. Since 2007, she has accumulated 3 more Honours diplomas: Travel & Tourism, Interior Design, and Gourmet Food & Catering.
LEGACY Events & Catering was created in December 2009 to offer full-service event coordination – from catering to decor, from destination weddings to corporate fundraisers. Stephanie’s goal is to create a LEGACY of phenomenal events in the Greater City of Sudbury.
