Welcome to Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat. I am a Wedding and Event Planner based in the Toronto area, and I want to help you plan your special day!
Whether you are looking to plan a wedding, a holiday party, a corporate event or a special celebration, Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat is ready to assist. I offer a wide array of services, ranging from full wedding and event planning to an “a la carte” menu of planning services. Whatever you need, I'm here to help.
Katerina Kallinikos, IEWP, is the Owner of Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat, Wedding and Event Planner.
In 2012, Katerina became a Certified Wedding and Event Planner through the QC School of Event Planning and has loved helping couples, friends and family members plan their special day!
Katerina prides herself on her great attention to detail, ability to multi-task, successfully work on tight deadlines, and quickly connect with her clients. She’s also incredibly organized, calm, focused and funny and is committed to making sure your special event runs smoothly and successfully.
Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Consultations:
Consultation package that includes, but is not limited to:
•Development of a theme or color scheme;
•Researching and finding the right vendors;
•Planning of the budget and/or timeline; and
•Advice on wedding etiquette.
Consultations will be based on information provided by client via email or telephone before the meeting. I will research your key questions or topics and ensure that I provide you with the right details during the session.
Each initial consultation session varies from 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your needs and includes a personalized wedding package for the couple to take home.
Coordinator Fees for Consultations:
Fees are $150 for the initial hour and $50 for every hour thereafter.
Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Day-Of Coordination:
This package works perfectly for the couple who would like to plan their entire wedding themselves, but would like to have a professional wedding coordinator execute the actual wedding day.
I will ensure that your day runs according to schedule and will be there in the event of a crisis or a last-minute decision. I will take away the worry or concern and allow the happy couple, family and friends to fully enjoy the wedding day without being interrupted with the details.
I come equipped with a Live, Laugh, Love Emergency Kit, which enables me to respond to any potential glitches or crisis. This kit may be customized to the type or style of the wedding.
Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Day-Of Package includes:
•FREE initial meeting with Bride and Groom;
•Meeting two to three weeks prior to the wedding day, where we’ll develop a comprehensive timeline and understand how you want your day to flow;
•Confirmation and management of all vendors on your wedding day;
•A wedding coordinator to run the rehearsal;
•A wedding coordinator and assistant at your ceremony, photos, and reception for up to 10 hours;
•Access to our Live, Laugh, Love Emergency Kit.
*Weddings of 175 guests or more may require additional costs.

Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Partial Planning Package:
Have an idea of what you want for your wedding, but finding it hard to figure out some of the logistics? Not sure what venue to select? Not sure when to send out invitations? Need florist recommendations or help securing a contract? Just not enough time in your day to pull together every detail? Live, Laugh, Love can help you with as many of the planning details necessary. This can be as much or as little as you want me to. Just tell me what you need and I’ll tell you how I can help you. This package will vary, but they all include a one hour consultation where we’ll go over your vision, your resources and identify what it is that I can help you with.
Coordinator fees for this package:
Fees for the Partial Planning package will vary depending on the needs of the couple. Please contact me for a quote. This package is often combined with my day-of coordination package.
Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Full Planning Package:
Overwhelmed? No idea where to start? Not enough spare time?
The Full Planning Package means I will be working with you every step of the way to ensure that you have the wedding you have always dreamed of. I will be there to help personalize a theme and style, and will assist you in making sure every detail is planned perfectly and within your budget.
I will also ensure that each wedding detail will be a reflection of the couple’s personalities and visions. My time, commitment and professional knowledge will allow your day to be a huge success.
Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Full Planning Package includes:
•Complete detailed wedding planning timeline;
•Researching, selecting and securing of vendors;
•Advice on etiquette;
•Guidance through all aspects of planning, including attendance at all appointments as required;
•Execution of rehearsal; and
•On-site management the day of the wedding day, with an assistant and our By Design Emergency Kit.

15% of every budget item that I assist you with.

Day-Of Event Coordination:
Already have an event plan? Vendors and venues secured? Food and beverages ordered? Congratulations! Now all you need is a hand pulling your event day off smoothly, so you too can enjoy the festivities! Let me worry about the logistics, guests, vendors and set-up so you don’t have to. It’s what I do and what I love.
Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat Day-Of Event Coordination includes:
•A meeting up to two weeks prior to the event day, to go through the day-of event details, so we know what the plan is, who should be there, when, etc.;
•A follow-up meeting on an as-needed basis the day before an event in case of any timeline changes or logistical challenges that might come up; and
•A By Design event coordinator and assistant – we’ll arrive before the event starts and we’ll stay until it’s either well on its way or is wrapping up (based on event type and complexity).

I have the skills, passion and knowledge to help you plan and execute your event if you need the help of a professional. Need help creating an event theme? Not sure what venue to select? No idea what kind of decor you need? No problem – let me do it for you! The full event planning package means that you can sit back, relax and let me do what I love.
This package includes:
•Initial consultation to identify your event needs, budget and resources;
•Follow-up meetings with the client to review details of the event;
•Development of an event plan;
•Selecting vendors and venue (i.e. flowers, decorator, caterer, audiovisual technicians, etc.);
•Contract negotiations with vendors, attending vendor meetings with the client, etc.;
•Coordinating logistics with all vendors and suppliers the week of the event;
•Complete day-of coordination of the event, including the By Design event coordinator and an assistant;
•Other meetings or services based on individual needs and contract;
*Live, Laugh, Love: Events by Kat believes in creating a custom event for all of my clients, which is why it’s difficult to give you a price online.
