Green Doxie Events aims to help you make a big impression while leaving a tiny footprint. How? We strive to use green or eco-friendly elements for our events… it’s all about having fun on this planet now and for years to come.

A bit about me - I have been planning events (both corporate and private) for a decade and must admit I thoroughly enjoy what I do. Most recently, I started Green Doxie Events.

We try. We understand that sometimes hosting a green affair is easier said than done. We believe in helping you achieve the stunning wedding you’ve always imagined, green or not. But because we’re aware that every little bit counts, we always put our best foot forward for the environment with every event.

We offer peace of mind. As your event planner, it’s my job to offer you peace of mind, connect you to the area’s most talented professionals and give you precious time to focus on your priorities, enjoy a stress-free engagement and spend time with your event guests.

We are personal. What a boring world we’d have if we were all the same. Your event should be just as unique as your own style. Your wedding should reflect your personality. At Green Doxie Events, our goal is to create your vision, make it a reality by listening to what you want and then working a little green magic to make it happen.

Services

Consultations
If you are planning your wedding yourself, you might find value in speaking with a professional to help point you in the right direction. Green Doxie Events can assist with anything from recommending vendors to answering questions about tradition or etiquette. Consultations take place at the location of your choosing, usually at a potential venue or common area.


Wedding Day Services
If you’re going to plan and coordinate all your own wedding details, you might find value in using our Wedding Day Services to orchestrate your wedding day, allowing you to be a guest at your own wedding.
Wedding Day Service typically includes:
• Consultation
o A two-hour review of your wedding details and contracts two weeks before your wedding
• Email / Phone assistance as needed, happy to answer any questions
• Confirm details with each wedding professional the week of the wedding
• A wedding timeline with detailed checklists and contact sheets for you to use when planning your wedding.
• Wedding day Emergency Kit
• Rehearsal coordination
• A walkthrough and tie-down meeting with your reception venue, verifying all is set to plan
• Confirm possession of wedding rings
• Two hours of wedding ceremony coordination typically including:
o 1 – 2 staff members (depends on wedding size) present on your wedding day
o Organization and set up of ceremony
o Contact person for vendors, officiate
o Distribution of flowers to bridal party and family
o Line-Up bridal party and family for processional
o Cue wedding professionals, bridal party and family for ceremony
o Organization of recessional and receiving line and photographer (if needed)
o Wrap up with the venue prior to departure
• Five hours of reception coordination typically including:
o Walkthrough of venue prior to guest arrival (place favors, guest book and other items if needed)
o Maintain and coordinate timeline for all events during reception
o Cue bride and groom, bridal party and parents for special events
o Deliver final payments and gratuities to wedding professionals
o Assist with gifts and personal items at the end of the event
o Wrap up with the venue prior to departure


Partial Wedding Planning Services
If you’re a planner and intend to coordinate all your own wedding details, you might find value in using our Wedding Day Services to orchestrate your wedding day, allowing you to be a guest at your own wedding.

o A two-hour initial meeting to discuss your vision
o A two-hour review of your wedding details and contracts two weeks before your wedding
• Email / Phone assistance as needed, happy to answer any questions
• Assistance in designing décor, color schemes and overall theme to reflect your style and personality
• A wedding timeline with detailed checklists and contact sheets
• Assistance with wedding budget
• Assistance in locating ceremony and reception sites
• ¬¬¬Recommendations of wedding professionals including, but not limited to, florists, bakeries, photographers, videographers, entertainers.
• Up to 10 hours of meetings:
o Attendance at meetings with wedding professionals
o Planning and organizational meetings
• Assistance with scheduling appointments with wedding professionals on your behalf
• Vendor contract review¬¬ and negotiation
• Assistance with floral and décor design for bridal party, ceremony and reception
• Assistance with selection of décor and rental items such as linens, lighting and rental of specialty items
• Assistance with menu selection
• Confirmation of all wedding professionals prior to your wedding
• Assistance in finding accommodations for out of town guests
• Designing and producing gift bags for out of town guests
• Assistance with coordinating and organizing the wedding rehearsal and dinner
• Assistance with reception room layout & set-up

• Stationery and Graphic Design Services - Assistance with designing, producing and assembling stationary to include save-the-date notices, invitations, RSVP cards, place settings cards, maps, table signs and all other printed needs.

• Designing and producing gift bags for out of town guests
