In addition to my banking experience, I have 7 years experience as a Grants Writer and Funds & Development officer, and also 12 years of event planning within the various communities I served. I have planned various types of events which include corporate retreats, conferences, meetings, family reunions, milestone birthday and anniversary celebrations, and weddings (from 50 -300 guests).

My education includes a Master’s of Science Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations with a minor in Human Resources from Cornell University, and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.

I have several licenses and certificates which include a certified classroom trainer and a certified International Event and Wedding Planner.

My skills include the ability to identify and develop ideas to meet the stated needs of the visionary. I also have a distinct ability to build and develop exceptional relationships and partnerships.

I’ve enjoyed working in many communities in various positions. They include serving as President of my alumni association, Director of Project Literacy, Executive Director of Public Affairs, several years as Community Advocate, Chairperson of the Community Advocacy Committee for a major hospital, and Chief Fundraiser for a landmark park Conservancy Board.
