Hello there! My name is MaKenna Stevens, and I am delighted that you’re here. I am an organized and innovative person with a fierce love for soft pretzels, beautiful dresses that bring out beautiful personalities, and—most of all—weddings. A certified wedding and event planner, I am here to help orchestrate the crazy process that is planning any event.

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a professional planner…but I’ve always been one. A favorite story my parents like to tell is how I planned a surprise anniversary party for them when I was eight years old. I contacted all of my relatives from my little address book, told them the time and day to show up, and what dish to bring. I got a ride to the Dollar Store to pick up decorations, baked a cake with a family friend, and--on the day of the party--I found an excuse to get my parents out of the house to make the magic happen. The result was an exciting evening of family and friends celebrating with my very surprised parents.

Since then my zeal for planning, list-making, organizing, and coming up with creative ideas has only continued to develop, along with a special knack for problem-solving. Once I realized wedding and event planning was a full-time profession, I was sold--and thoroughly in love! And having had experience in cake-decorating, catering, clothing design and tailoring, flower arranging, event décor and day-of coordinating, I couldn’t ask for a better pass-time.



Before planning your wedding, join me for coffee as we spend an afternoon or evening going over pivotal information regarding signing contracts with your vendors, building your wedding budget, creating a personalized wedding schedule that flows, and planning wedding details that logistically make sense. I'll buy you coffee, and we'll get to know each other to decide if we would make a good wedding team.


This package includes everything a coordinator does AND MORE. I don’t just coordinate your vendors so things run on schedule…I jump in wherever needed to make sure every problem gets resolved, no task goes undone, and every vendor, guest, and bride and groom (that’s you!) are happy. I am the first to arrive for set up on the wedding day and the last to leave after tear down!

This package assumes you will be doing the planning, and I will be here to guide you through the process as soon as I book your special day! We will have 4 consultations, as well as an on-site consultation together, and access to me via phone, text, and email. You will have access to my preferred vendors list, and I will advise you as you work with your vendors, create your budget, and design your personalized wedding itinerary, floor plans, and seating charts. About a month before your wedding, I will take over anything that has yet to be planned, reach out to your vendors, and troubleshoot last-minute details. I will coordinate your rehearsal, meet your families and wedding party, and—of course—oversee your entire wedding day. You’re in great hands.

This package includes EVERYTHING above, and assumes that I will be planning alongside you. You will have unlimited consultations with me throughout the time leading up to your wedding, and I will help you choose your venues and vendors, research and plan your wedding décor designs, manage RSVP’s, and advise you on every question you will have. I am here to serve you and make your wedding dreams come true!
