Your Event Planning Solution at a Reasonable Price

Creative Creations Event Planning transforms a client’s dream into an incredible reality through its diverse resources and strong team work ethic. The Creative ideas our team manifests enable our clients to receive exactly what they had envisioned. My team immerses itself in our work because we believe in the ability of transforming a special event into an unforgettable memory for our clients to cherish for the rest of their lives. At Creative Creations we offer wedding and event planning design and layout. Our company cares very deeply for our community, as such, our objective is to only use local vendors and contractors, and when possible, to use sustainable resources.

Communication is essential in an ever changing and fast-paced environment such as event planning; our team prides ourselves with the family-like bond we’ve established which strengthens our communication skills, enabling us to get numerous tasks done efficiently on a regular basis. Our team realizes that planning an event can be stressful, so our goal is to create a positive environment in which the client feels at ease and comfortable with each decision we make together.

I spent five years at the University of British Columbia studying English literature and History which enabled me to graduate with a degree in Creative and Critical Studies. After graduating, I then began assisting my mother with her floral design business in order to stay busy and to try and sort out what kind of career I would want to pursue. It wasn’t until I helped my mother and her business partner with a wedding in Vancouver that I became interested in event planning. I assisted with setting up the floral displays and adding any last minute touches to the arrangements. I also assisted the wedding planner with re-positioning tables, folding napkins, tying bows on the backs of the chairs, etc. Not only was this wedding my first hands-on experience, but it was extremely eye-opening and rewarding because it made me realize the passion I have for event planning. I knew that this could be an incredible opportunity for me and I was really excited to start working with these kinds of events on a regular basis which is why I then began taking an online course for event and wedding planning with the QC Career School. After completing the course, I then began shadowing a few event planners in Vancouver in order to gain experience. After a few years, I was then able to feel confident enough in my abilities to start my own business called Creative Creations Event Planning, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how far I’ve come. I am also currently taking two courses relating to event planning: floral design and photography; both will aid in expanding the business, which is my next goal.
