Launching Hidden Host Events is my lifelong, dream come true. I’ve been making floor plans and playing bride for as long as I can remember. (many childhood memories of me wearing a toilet paper veil and coming down the hallway to "Here Comes The Bride" over and over again). Growing up, I bought wedding magazines with the money I earned selling flowers and lemonade in front of my grandparent’s house and could spend hours looking at the beautiful wedding photos and playing dress up. I would get all dressed up in one of the fancy dresses I purchased at the nearest thrift store (that were always a few sizes too big on me) and throw parties for my grandparents, their neighbors, and any other family member that was around. I was always a social butterfly and enjoyed entertaining guests.
I decided to open Hidden Host Events after working as an event manager for a world class venue in Newport, Rhode Island. From managing banquets to working as an event manager for one of the best hospitality companies in New England, I have over a decade of experience in the event world. I never knew that this was my passion until I was almost out of the industry, I was going to school for nursing at the time and working as a banquet server to pay for school. One day, in the middle of setting up for an event, I had an epiphany. I was suddenly overwhelmed with a longing feeling for events and décor – I was in the middle of setting up for an event and already missing it! I knew right away that this was my calling and immediately started pushing my way into the sales department to learn more about the planning process. These experiences influence my approach to event management and design.
Every wedding or special event is unique and everyone has their own story, style and vision of how the day should flow. I love coming up with creative ways to incorporate my client's personalities into their event. I think personal touches are important and part of what makes a wedding/event memorable. I love to hear “This is SO them!” as guests are walking into an event that I helped plan. When I hear those words, I know I've done my job.
I think my overall FAVORITE part of planning weddings and events is showing my client their reception space before we let their guests into the room. I love the excitement and amazement when they see their vision come to life!

Partial Planning Package
So you've selected your venue, perhaps you have a color scheme in mind, and you created an inspiration board or started a wedding binder, but now you realize you need help putting this all together! There are still a few vendors that you need to book, seating charts that need to be made and you would love to have a professional planner look over what you’ve done so far and bring it all to fruition. With my Partial Planning Package I can step in and take over, making sure the rest of your checklist gets completed, all your loose ends are neatly tied up, and you can focus on the other things like your lover!
Full Service Event Planning
