Inviting Events is a family-run party and event planning company serving North Yorkshire and the North East. We specialise in small to medium sized private events for any occasion. We offer a range of services from full party planning to on-the-day support.

We have a selection of luxury products available for hire including marquees, event furniture and decor.

We also produce our own events for the general public.

Marie Claire has worked in PR, Talent and Production Management and has coordinated a range of productions including the BT River of Music for London Cultural Olympiad, projects for BBC Learning and Channel 4 and The Ronnie Wood Show for Sky Arts, as well as being the International Client Manager for the BRIT Awards radio. She was fortunate to work at Walt Disney World in Florida where she practiced her magic making skills and she has assisted in the management of celebrity and sports talent. Most recently she has worked as a publicist for UK theatre productions. Marie Claire has recently returned to her native North East to follow her passion for party planning and is excited to launch Inviting Events. Growing up in a creative family where every occasion was an excuse for a party, she is experienced in producing great social events. When she isn't planning events, she is conducting wedding ceremonies as a Ceremonies Registrar for North Yorkshire County Council.

Services

Event Planning - we offer a range of packages to suit your budget, from full event planning to on-the-day support. Inviting Events will always meet with you for an initial consultation to discuss your needs and then we will plan a unique event around you. If you simply need someone to coordinate your suppliers on the day of your event and to ensure it all runs smoothly, we are here to help.

Marquee Hire - we have a 12m x 6m marquee available for hire. It also comes in the smaller size of 10m x 6m for more intimate parties. Drapes, lighting, flooring and a PA system are available at extra cost.

Furniture and Glassware Hire - we have several 5 foot banqueting tables available to hire with matching chairs. Both are easily assembled and can fold down to transform your event space. Also available for hire are champagne and wine glasses, cutlery and linens.

Speech-Writing - we are unique in that we can offer you a speech-writing service to help you prepare for this all-important aspect of your special occasion. Our professional journalist will meet with you to discuss ideas and will help you to formulate them into a coherent and unforgettable address.

Inviting Events covers private family celebrations as well as significant corporate events, including but not limited to: Anniversaries, Birthdays, Weddings, Retirement Parties, Bar Mitzvahs, Children's parties, Proms and Sweet Sixteens, Charity Fundraisers, Awards Evenings, Launch Parties and Grand Openings, Seasonal Parties and Public Celebrations.

We also aim to produce our own events that will be open for the general public to enjoy.
