Dreamstar Wedding design is a small professional business based between Bristol & Bath. We specialise in planning weddings in Bristol & Bath. We are happy to work with any budget: large, medium, petite or tremendous.
I have been the Restaurant Manager of The Riverside Inn, Saltford for the last 8 years there I have planned and co-ordinated over 100 weddings, having met numerous valuable contacts within the industry along the way.
The average wedding takes approximately 250 hours to plan, which can become a daunting and very stressful task. Long working hours and a busy social life can make it very difficult and demanding to organise a wedding. It can be a very overwhelming experience. At Dreamstar we specialise in wedding styling at affordable prices. We can offer you guidance, advice and our services to help you create a day to remember.

From the initial joy of your engagement to the sheer panic of having to plan and co-ordinate every detail to fulfil your dream, I will be there for you. My primary role is to give you the capacity to enjoy yourself. I take those anxieties all away from you. So put the destiny of your wedding in my hands. I have loads of little tricks and huge time-savers, to make your wedding as magnificent and as stress-free as you always hoped.
We unconditionally do not accept commission from any supplier, and pass on discounts directly to you, giving you the confidence that you are getting the best deal and that any supplier recommendations are based on the suitability of you wedding. We only ever recommend professional, established suppliers who are reliable and of the highest quality.
I would be delighted to arrange a free, no obligation consultation at a time and place that suits you. This will give us both the opportunity to understand what is required and provide the confidence and comfort that we can work together.
Services Hourly Consultations
If you find that you are struggling with what you should do next or where to start then an hourly consultation with a wedding planner could be really beneficial for you. Even if you are enjoying the planning of your wedding, there can still be times when you are ‘stuck’ and need help and advice from someone completely impartial and unbiased.
Hourly consultations can cover anything at all from how to work on a budget, planning, where to look for and how to choose suppliers, legalities, etiquette or finishing touches. I can be contacted anytime by phone and email or face to face if necessary. Fee: from £30 face to face, £20 email or telephone.
As the bride, couple or someone planning a friends wedding you may be feeling daunted at the sheer thought of planning such a big occasion. Asking yourself questions like where should I start? What first? If this is the case then wedding starter is for you. I will meet with you and put together an outline budget and schedule, provide inspiration for themes, ideas, colours and suppliers and give you assistance with wedding etiquette. I will help you with anything you require to get started. Fee: £150
Wedding Venue Search
After an initial consultation to discus all your needs from a venue, I can research, negotiate prices and arrange meetings for up to 3 venues in order for you to make your choice. These will then be presented to you with prices, availability, contact details and all the information you need to know. After you have reviewed the options I will join you on your visit and walk through what is on offer at each location. Fee: £200
Wedding Supplier Search
After an initial consultation to discus your requirements for those added extras, such as photographers, florists, toastmasters. I will research, negotiate prices and arrange meetings for up to 3 suppliers in each category for you to make an informed choice. Fee: £30 per category
Wedding Budget Management
After consultation with you I can take the total budget you have planned for your wedding and work out separate budgets for each aspect. The broken down budget will then be entered onto a computer wedding budget plan, so that alterations can be made by you throughout the planning stages, and you can monitor your finances to ensure budgets are adhered to and things don’t get out of hand. Fee: £60
On the day co-ordination
You may have already done all the planning for your wedding, but want the reassurance that a dedicated professional will be managing the day, taking care of all those finishing touches and ensuring the wedding is all that you dreamed. On the day co-ordination can be vital to the success of a wedding. I can provide a discreet presence on your wedding day, co-ordinate all suppliers, arrangements and ensure that you can enjoy everything without worrying about what is going on behind the scenes. I will normally stay until the evening reception begins and after the ‘first dance’.
Three weeks before your wedding I will meet with you and extensively discuss the days’ arrangements. I will then produce a very detailed wedding day schedule and liaise with all suppliers, to ensure they are clear regarding the days arrangements. Fee: £300, £200 with full wedding planning

Full Wedding Planning
A tailor made service based on your individual requirements. I will begin with a complimentary consultation to discuss how you envisage your perfect wedding day, from there I will develop your ideas, so that your wedding day is a true refection of your dreams and style. From this first initial meeting I will be able to find out how much help you will need and how much input you would like me to have. I can provide inspiration for themes, colours etc as well as put together a time line and budget, helping you with everything from venue searches and florists to the final design of your seating plan. I will always be on hand to discus your big day and to suggest countless ideas and money saving tips. This service allows you to stay in complete control of your day but takes away the stress and hard work that is involved in planning a sensational dream wedding. Fee: from £1300
Six Weeks to go Dreamstar to the Rescue
If you have done most of the hard work yourself but now want to enjoy the electrifying build up to your wedding rather than getting anxious and worn-out then this is the service for you. Six weeks before the big day I will meet with you to discuss the details of your event extensively. From here I will closely study your plans so far, bring to light any problems and suggest solutions. Develop an extremely comprehensive wedding day schedule to be distributed amongst suppliers, inclusive of emergency contact numbers and any other appropriate details. Liaise with all suppliers regarding the days’ arrangements. Provide limitless email and telephone support, giving you the advantage of my expert knowledge and experience. Attend on the day to make certain everything goes smoothly and to act as appoint of contact for guests and suppliers. Fee: from £700
Wedding Gown Assistant
A brides wedding ensemble, whether its’ a traditional long gown, a flirty knee length dress, or a chic suit, should make you feel radiant, confident, beautiful and comfortable on your wedding day. Dreamstar offers a personal service to accompany the bride on an individually personalised day of wedding gown shopping. I will organise appointments in designers wedding shops and provide unbiased advice and assistance to ensue that the dress of your dreams is in keeping with your wedding theme and budget. Fee: £150
Wedding Venue Decoration
This package is designed for those who need an extra pair of hands to decorate the venue on their special day. It includes three hours of on-site venue dressing and decoration. I will arrive in the morning of your wedding to dress your venue. This includes setting out place cards, favours, tying ribbon around napkins and any other assistance that you may require. From £150
Tailor made package
If you don’t think you require any of the set packages and would rather pick and choose how you can have a wedding professional help with you big day then you can tailor make your package. Just contact us for more information and we can discuss a package that suits you.
We provide Balloon Decoration to suit your style theme and budget.
Our Balloons are the very best quality and come in many colours and prints.
We have experience in decorating for large events. You will have peace of mind that your decor will be finished on time and will look how we have planned it.
As packages are restrictive we prefer to meet you at your chosen venue and talk through your theme we will then decide on which decor will suit the room size.
After meeting we will put together a few packages for you to choose from.

We provide high quality white chair covers in a choice of lycra or cotton to cater to your budget. To compliment our covers there is a range of accessories available including bows & sashes, butterflies & floral accents.
Our service is fully inclusive, we deliver to your chosen venue fit the covers before fitting them with your chosen accessory. We then collect the covers after the function at a time convenient to the venue, allowing you to enjoy your day.
