Catalina Gaitán Michelsen

I am a 25 year old dual Colombian-American citizen. I hold a B.A in Industrial and Product Design (Double Degree) from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá, Colombia and the European Institute of Design in Barcelona, Spain.

Since 2010 I have worked in the event-planning business and have discovered that my career can be easily applied to this area through creativity and staging, transforming concepts and ideas into tangible solutions. I am also certified as an international event and wedding planning professional by the QC Event School. Parallel to the previously mentioned studies, I am presently employed at Deloitte Colombia as Marketing Event Coordinator, from which I intend to expand my knowledge for further use.

My main goal is to demonstrate people that it is possible to both plan events and enjoy the process, in a stress-free environment.
