I have been involved in the wedding business for 15 years. Starting off as a trainee florist at the age of 20, I quickly realised I had a flair for creative design. I began providing wedding consultations for brides-to-be, turning their floral visions into reality by creating their perfect wedding flowers. The florist I worked for started exhibiting at wedding fayres and I loved this element of the job the most. The buzz of anticipation in the air, meeting so many excited new brides-to-be and their families in one place and keeping up with the latest wedding trends. It was also an ideal opportunity to network with suppliers providing other elements of wedding services such as caterers, venues, photographers etc.
My love of weddings, events, organising and meeting new people inspired me to look into wedding and event planning. The more I researched, the more excited I became at the possibility of becoming a wedding & event planner myself.
I am currently studying an Event & Wedding Planner course at QC Event School where I am backing up my experience and natural flair with professional guidelines which can only be advantageous to you the client. I am always looking for new ways to enhance my skills to ensure that you receive the best service possible.
