Birthday, Wedding and Event Design

My name is Jeana Hosack, I own and operate Jema Event Design & Coordination. My goal is to make your next event as easy as possible. Together we will come up with a theme, décor, menu, budget and much more!

Once we have decided on all the details for your event, I don't just leave you on your own! I will be with you until and on the day of your event if you would like! Or if you're a go-getter, I can send you on your way to make your event happen on your own. The level of help you receive from me is up to you! I have different packages available ranging from a 2 hour consultation (brainstorming session) to full service (start {or engagement} to day of).

I have ALWAYS had a passion for weddings, since I was about 4 years old. While I was in high school I took many fashion design classes and went on to take a year of Fashion Design and Marketing at Lethbridge College. My intention was to design evening wear and wedding dresses. Somehow I managed to talk my self out of it and spent a few years finding "a real career". During this time I graduated from Child and Youth Care at Lethbridge College and have been working with kids for the last little bit. Yet there was always that little voice in the back of my head suggesting I head back to weddings.
So, here I am!

Now, that being said, I couldn't bring myself to think of cutting kids out of my life all together. So when I began to do my research about schooling, I decided that event and wedding planning was the best choice. No need to miss out on anything! My experience with children in out of school care makes planning a birthday party so much easier! My services don't stop there though. I also offer anniversary parties, bridal showers, stagettes, engagement planning, baby showers, company team building and holiday parties!

I am ecstatic to be back in the world of events & weddings and can not wait to put my creative mind to work!!

Let’s Brainstorm – Consultation

This package is designed to get those juices flowing and give you that boost you’ve needed, it includes:

· 1 hour consultation – 1 hour follow up meeting (3-6 days apart)
· This might help with the following areas: theme development, budget, etiquette, color schemes, management of family issues, venue suggestions and referrals.

Let’s Enjoy– Day of service

This package is designed to allow you to enjoy your special day, it includes:

· 2 hour consultation 2 weeks prior to wedding
· Unlimited email and phone communication
· Wedding day coordination service
· Detailed itinerary for wedding day
· On-site direction of ceremony and reception
· Access to the “emergency bridal bag”

Let’s Create – month of service

This package is designed to help alleviate that last minute stress you may be feeling, it includes:

· All items listed in the “Let’s Enjoy” package as well as
· 2 hour consultation 4 weeks prior to wedding
· Attendance and assistance of ceremony rehearsal
· Management of small décor details
· Delivery of final payment to vendors (if needed)
· Transport flowers, programs and décor from ceremony to reception (does not include chairs or ceremony take down**)
· Communication with vendors through the day
· Ensure scheduled events at reception (cocktails, grand entrance, dinner, cake cutting, first dances, bouquet/garter toss)

Let’s Design – Full service

This package is the real deal! It has you covered from the moment you say go until you’re dancing the night away as Mr. and Mrs. It includes:

· All items listed in the “Let’s Create” package as well as
· Budget development and management
· Design and décor recommendations (venue, attire, cake, favors, centerpieces and stationary – Personalized items can be made*)
· Theme development
· Management of any family issues
· Researched and recommended vendors based on your needs and budget
· Vendor referrals
· 4 one hour meetings with couple – in addition to unlimited communication

Jema Event Design and Coordination offers design of children's birthday parties, anniversary parties, bridal showers, stagettes, engagement planning, baby showers, company team building, holiday parties and almost anything else you can imagine!!
