NE Occasion is a boutique business that specializes in creative event styling and design and comprehensive party planning services. Whether you're looking for complete event design, a bit of inspiration, or help with crafting, NE Occasion provides hands-on creative direction and organizational services. Currently we are catering to Central and Northern NJ with hopes to branch out in the future.

Our Design Team can create bridal showers, corporate events, photo shoots, baby showers, birthdays and even intimate dinner parties. We pride ourselves on providing a seamless end-to-end experience that incorporates your unique vision and personal style into an event that is all you.

Nicole Montecalvo coordinates, produces and executes all aspects of corporate events, bridal and baby showers, social gatherings, birthday parties and much more. Nicole has a passion for creativity, event design and service, which she realized from her experience as Director of Public Relations and Event Coordinator for Bayshore Recycling Corporation, one of the largest recycling facilities on the East Coast. Nicole has planned and executed logistics for Bayshore’s CEO’s speaking engagements and public relations events, corporate trade shows, holiday parties, customer appreciation events and Earth Week celebrations.

Nicole is a natural in the event industry. Her warm and enthusiastic personality, along with flawless precision and attention to detail, has helped contribute to her success. Her passion and vision for excellence are her driving force behind very satisfied customers. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Public Relations from Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ in 2010.

In her free time, Nicole loves taking her Great Dane/ Mastiff mix to the beach and dog park, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing. She supports and participates in several charities including Clean Ocean Action, The Nature Conservancy and Camp Boggy Creek.


* Complete Event Planning Packages- NE Occasion is with you every step of the way to assist you in assembling a qualified team of industry professionals to ensure the success of your event from beginning to end. We guide you through every aspect of planning from devising an incredible theme to creating spectacular menus to selecting the perfect favors.

* Partial Planning Packages- Designed for the client who has the venue and most vendors booked, but wants professional guidance for the finer details. This package allows the client a hands-on role in planning with our professional assistance to guide them.

* Event Styling + Day Of Coordination- This package was created to ensure that your plans are carried out smoothly and to discretely handle any problems that may arise. We may say "Day Of" service but we will work with you a month prior to your event to ensure all of your goals are achieved. With a Day-Of Coordinator watching over the details of the day, you can enjoy all the special moments without stressing.

We offer services from color palettes, table-scape design, linens, floor plans, vendor referrals, decor, rentals, and lighting.
