Hi my name is Monette Tanagon, IEWP, IEDP - International Event and Wedding Planning Professional and International Event Decorating Professional. I am also the Chairperson & Managing Director of Inspiring Celebrations Ltd. I provide professional, dependable, stylish and bespoke wedding and event planning, coordination, management, design and decor services. I offer services that will fit in with client’s requirements. My objective is to work on the truism that there is never a celebration that is too small to take on because each event that is planned by the client has purpose and objective and it is important to them. Therefore, I offer different bespoke services that will suit their requirements, but with the same high standard of service to all weddings and events that I serve. I ensure that I listen to the needs and desire of my clients and work with them responsively to inspire and create the wedding or event that they envisioned.

My experience over the years in wedding and corporate event planning, organising, coordination and management started when I worked as fulltime Project Manager of a corporation engaged in the development and conversion of government properties. Here, aside from being an administrative and financial services manager as well as resort development manager, I planned, organised, coordinated and managed corporate events such as strategic and corporate planning, project meetings, board meetings, programme kick-off meetings, Christmas party, etc. and design weddings to include in my portfolio. I adopted high standards and excellence in my work ensuring my client’s satisfaction. I have always been passionate about arts, design and the creation of decorations that showcase my creativity and talent. I love creating beautiful things for people which help them build special memories in their lives that will make them smile when they reminisce.

The latest wedding that I have planned, organised, coordinated and managed was my best friend’s wedding which happened on the 4th of August 2013. I also design, create and decorate her wedding. The complements and praise I received filled my heart and this was a turning point for me. I established my own company and provide a professional service that will inspire and create lasting memories for my clients.

I have a degree in Business Administration and Master’s Degree in Public Management and I am also a licensed PRINCE2 Practitioner and a Fellow in the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). I have 10 years of management and leadership experience, including 6 years in project management. I also have 7 years of experience in Research Grants and Contracts and Research Finance and am currently a Project Officer handling project management, administration and financial management of research projects funded by the European Commission and other government and industrial sponsors. This role also gave me the opportunity to plan, organise, coordinate and manage project meetings and events.
