Welcome to my profile and thank you for viewing.

My name is Valeena Hannon, I am a self-described social butterfly and a genuine people person with a natural passion for coordinating and planning events. Ever since I can remember I've always been involved in some manner with events and always manage to turn anything and everything into one. As a Certified International Event & Wedding Planning Professional I bring new outlook and exciting ideas to help you with yours.

Originally, from Nova Scotia where a portion of my family still resides, I have been raised in New Brunswick the majority of my life. Although my passion has always been in events, beauty is also an interest of mine. In 2007, I studied esthetics at Medes College and became an Esthetician, during which time I competed in the annual Skills Canada competition and won 2nd place overall. Eastern College was my second venture in 2009, where I received my Associates Degree in Business and finally, my most recent study at QC School where I am now a Certified Event & Wedding Planner and doing what I love most.

My experience helps aid in this field as well. I have over 5 years in management overseeing 20 or more employees. Where I delegated responsibilities with ease, worked as a team with advanced time management skills, strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Also, with a Hospitality background and delivering exceptional customer service for over 11 years thriving from fast paced environments with a powerful work ethic.

My Professional background which includes but is not limited too; Freedom run event which I assisted with for 2 years with day-of event organizing. Additionally, Concert promotions, business after 5 functions, meetings, conferences, luncheons, on-site & off-site catering, banquets, cocktail hour and social coordinating for multiple employers. As well as personal events I have planned that consist of a 50th surprise birthday, themed parties for example Christmas & Halloween, a baby shower, teen and adult birthday parties, graduation parties, family gatherings and reunions just to name a few.

Initial Consultation
-This can be done a number of different ways : Email, telephone and in-person. Which ever is more convenient for you.

Planning & Preparation
-Working side-by-side together right up until the day of the event to ensure it goes off without a hitch. Securing the best vendors and services possible at the best rate.

Day-of Wedding/Event Coordination
-Hiring me for the day of and/or the duration of the event being that it may be an entire weekend again ensuring that everything goes smoothly.

Complete Wedding/Event coordination
-This would include covering your event from start to finish.

Internal/External Corporate events, Private & Social events, Industry & Special events and weddings, no matter how big or small for any occasion you want to make special. Emailing me will be the first step in the right direction.

Valeena did an amazing job at planning my 50th surprise Birthday! She was very creative in asking me questions over a period of time, without me suspecting anything. She contacted my friends asking them to attend and asked them to keep this a secret from me. All the while, Valeena was telling me that she was going to take me out to supper. Valeena booked the venue (McSweeney Company Dinner Theatre), she arranged for the staff to announce my Birthday and for the staff to engage me in the theatre performance. We arrived and I was greeted by many friends, ate a tasty supper, and had a great time participating with the theatre group. Valeena came over to my home throughout the night and decorated my yard and car, so that when I woke up on my special day and went outside to go to work, I would find a great surprise! As you may have guessed Valeena is my beautiful and talented daughter. She is also outgoing, creative, detail orientated and will provide you with excellent service.
