Once upon a time there was a young girl named Jycinda and since before she could remember she had always been interested in special occasions and had a passion for organising and planning. She knew from a young age that she would change people’s lives and that she could be there for others in times of need. She worked hard and acquired skills like reliability, trust, compassion and confidence, then began her journey to living happily ever after.
I am that girl and I am here to make your fairy tale become a reality.
Growing up I have always been in the entertainment industry surrounded by lavish, creative and well planned events. I started out at the young age of 13 working for a company that hired out clowns, fairies and pirates for children’s birthday parties, christenings, entertainment for weddings and charity events.
At school I organised parties and events like the 40 hour famine, walk-a-thons, graduations and formals.
With dancing I was secretary of the fundraising committee and planned Trivia Nights, BBQs, Disco's, Movie Events, Night Markets and our own version of The Amazing Race.
Through my employer I joined the events team as soon as possible and got involved with organizing things such as RU OK? Day, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and the all-important end of year Christmas functions.
These all lead me to my proudest moment which was in my last year of high school; I was approached and asked to plan a wedding. Doing this was a great experience and sealed the deal in knowing that this was what I wanted to do as a career.
I love getting to see others special moments and the joy that it brings to them. Just like a fairy tale I will plan from the beginning, travel through the middle with you & stay right up until the very end. I don’t believe that any detail is too small and each event begins long before the guests arrive. You can think of me as your fairy godmother to guide you through the steps to a successful and beautiful event.
