This is a kitchen pantry that belongs to a family of 5. The family called me because the space was unusable in the current state. Too much time was required to find food staples, snacks, etc.  It was also hard to tell the actual inventory of food items. 

The kitchen pantry floor was a drop spot for large items and other clutter.

The organization process for this pantry took 3 hours.  The first step was to pull everything from the pantry.  Then we tossed all food items that were expired, stale, etc.  Next we set aside items that didn't belong in the pantry (i.e. non-food items).  Finally, we designated what should be stored on each shelf.  Where needed, we containerized items with labels.

This is my 5 year old son's bedroom closet.  He needed more storage for his toys in his closet so they could be kept out of the family room.  He also needed a system where he could easily pull toys out and put them away.

This is my son's closet after we installed a shelf and purchased a few clear plastic tubs.  The investment was less than $40.  The total project took 3 hours (shelf installation and toy sorting/organizing).  The key to keeping the closet organized was involving my son in the organization process!
