My name is Christina Merrett and I am the owner and lead planner for Hartfelt Events. It is my goal to provide you with exemplary service in planning your event or dream wedding.

I started this business after planning my own wedding and realizing yes, you can do this yourself, but wouldn't it be easier if there was someone else to rely on to ensure things run smoothly and who is not emotionally invested in the day? My goal is to be that person, the person you can rely on and know that with my services your day will be perfect.

The services I offer will minimize the stress you may have when planning events and help you enjoy not only the day of the event, but the weeks and months leading up to the event. I offer everything from full service start to finish event planning, to day of coordination to ensure that your event runs smoothly.

Wedding Services

Your wedding is your day, ensure that you can relax and enjoy your day by allowing Hartfelt Events to help make your day and the days leading up to your wedding as stress free as possible.

Option 1: Breath Easy Plan
You do the dreaming, I do the work.
This is the most comprehensive package and includes full event planning and coordination. Typically, this plan begins 12 months—or more—prior to the event date.
Services include, but are not limited to:
• Free Initial Consultation
• Up to 120 hours of planning, consulting, and coordinating
• Budgeting (helping you develop budget and staying within it)
• Etiquette guidelines
• Conflict resolution or mediation help with family, friends and vendors
• Assistance with seating arrangement, menu selection, favour selection etc.
• Discussion of theme, colour and your own style
• Assisting with choosing and securing vendors
• Reviewing vendor contracts
• Reminder and confirmation calls to all vendors
• Develop and provide itinerary and floor plan to vendors and wedding party
• Coordination of Rehearsal
• Wedding Day Service (see ‘It’s Your Day plan for more information)

Option 2: A Helping Hand Plan
This package is for the couple that has planned most of the big stuff, but needs a hand managing the fine details. Typically this plan begins 6-8 months before the event date.
Services include, but are not limited to:
• Free Initial Consultation
• Up to 80 hours of planning, consulting, and coordinating
• Budgeting (reviewing your budget, tweaking if needed, helping stay in the budget)
• Etiquette guidelines
• All Planning needs after the big stuff is booked
• Reviewing vendor contracts
• Conflict resolution or mediation help with family/friends/vendors
• Assistance with seating arrangement, menu selection, favour selection etc.
• Reminder and confirmation calls to all vendors
• Develop and Provide itinerary and floor plan to vendors and wedding party
• Coordination of Rehearsal
• Wedding Day Service (see ‘It’s Your Day plan for more information)

Option 3: Where Did the Time Go Plan
This package is designed to assist couples with last minute and emergency planning and coordination. Typically this plan begins no more than 3 months before the event date.
Services include, but are not limited to:
• Free Initial Consultation
• Up to 60 hours of planning, consulting, and coordinating
• Etiquette guidelines
• Conflict resolution or mediation help with family/friends/vendors
• Recommending last minute vendors
• Securing last minute vendors
• Reminder and confirmation calls to all vendors
• Provide itinerary and floor plan to vendors and wedding party
• Coordination of Rehearsal
• Wedding Day Service (see ‘It’s Your Day plan for more information)

Option 4: It’s Your Day Plan
This package is great for the couple who wants to do it themselves, but wants to relax and enjoy their wedding day and not have to sweat the details. Typically this plan begins one month prior to the event date.
Services include, but are not limited to:
• Free Initial Consultation
• 40 hours of consulting and coordinating
• Meeting 1 month before the wedding to go over all of your plans
• Reminder and confirmation calls to all vendors
• Provide itinerary and floor plan to vendors and wedding party
• Coordination of Rehearsal
• Wedding Day Service:
o Full availability starting 3 days before the event and up to two days after
o Unlimited hours of service on your wedding day
o Supervision of ceremony and reception site decoration
o Assisting with keeping to the event day itinerary
o Ensure that photographer, caterer, DJ etc., are fulfilling the their contract terms
o Collect gifts and cards and ensure that they are delivered to you after the wedding
o Co-ordinate clean up of the ceremony and reception site
o Provide “wedding emergency” kit


Hourly and Other Services:
If you need help with stuffing and mailing of invitations, assembling of wedding favours or any other details that may come up during the planning process, but do not wish to purchase a full wedding package, simply give me a call and we can work out the details.

The hourly service rate is $25.00/hour.

• Wedding Emergency Kit
o Available for individual purchase for the couple that wants to be prepared.
o These kits start at $35.00 and are fully customizable not only to you, but also your décor, your ceremony location and reception location.

• Bathroom Baskets
o Make your guests feel as pampered as you do on your special day. Bathroom baskets start at $25.00 and are fully customizable to the needs of your guests, the ceremony location and reception location.

Hartfelt Events is proud to be able to assist you in planning all types of events from Birthdays, Graduations, Holiday Parties, Staff and Corporate Parties and everything in between. From 10 people to 1000 people Hartfelt Events will help your event be everything you could possibly want.
