My name is Ursula Reeve, owner/operator of “Changing “UR” Space! … “one room at a time”, a staging, organizing, de-cluttering, re-design, moving & relocation, and “staging for living” service.
As a trained and certified professional, I adhere to a high standard of work ethic and integrity. My approach to each and every project is with enthusiasm and professionalism, offering as much, or as little of my services as required.
My business experience, coupled with ISRP Designation, background in construction, real estate and design, are sure to create an image that will capture your attention.
A little bit about me.... I grew up in a family of 4 children, 3 boys and me. The whole family is involved in the construction business, so I guess it is only natural that I should have an interest in homes. Back in 1992, we built a home for the first Canadian “Street of Dreams”. The home came complete with a “real” home theatre. During this adventure my interest in real estate, design, construction and finishing a home, really came to the fore-front. I then decided to take the real estate course, learned how to read blue-prints and co-ordinate with other contractors and clients to make it all come together. It wasn’t until a few years ago I thought about going back to school and brushing up on my skills, when I came across an evening course on Interior Design. This really peaked my interest. Because of my interest in crafts, re-designing my own spaces and spaces of family and friends, I decided to take the plunge and enrol in QC Design School. The best thing I have done thus far!

This process is getting a home ready to sell creating the best first impression possible, inside and out. It is “curb appeal” for the whole home. It is the art of preparing and packaging a home “for sale”. This service is used more by Realtors, developers and contractors. Due to the popular home design shows, today’s buyer has higher standards and wants a home that is “move-in” ready.
Organizing & De-cluttering:
I offer the client systems and strategies to give everything in the home its own location, help design layouts that are customized to the family needs. By enlisting the help of an organizer/de-clutterer, the client can streamline their belongings ahead of time saving time and money in the packing and moving process, and, making unpacking and getting settled in their new home much faster and stress free.
This process uses the clients existing furnishings. The service can be applied to current homes, as well as new residences. This process also includes color consultation and full room layout design.
“Staging for Living”:
This service includes the re-designing of a room (or whole house), color consultation, furniture arranging, the placement of artwork, family photos, and accessories to create pleasing focal points that highlight the special features .
Moving “in” and “out” service: Help the client with all aspects involved with moving out of existing residence to moving in to new residence. Specialize in helping seniors relocating to assisted living quarters.
