I know from past experience that selling your home can be a very stressful and confusing time and it is then that you must see your house through the eyes of potential buyers and that can be very difficult for most people because when you see your home, you see it as just that; your home. That’s where I step in. I assist home owners with depersonalizing, de-cluttering, neutralizing and redesigning their home to appeal to a larger number of people, reaching a greater market which in turn will sell your home faster. Statistics show that well staged homes spend less time on the market than un-staged homes.
I received my diploma in interior decorating through correspondence so I could still have time with my children and be able to work. As the industry for Home staging began to grow, so did my excitement and interest for it. I decided to become an accredited Home Stager and Re-Designer through QC Design School.
My dream is becoming a reality. To assist people to achieve their goals of selling their homes, to be my own boss, have a career I love and still have time with my family.
I believe in being sensitive to your needs and budget. Small changes can make a huge impact and they don’t always cost a lot. Please keep in mind that hiring a Home Stager will cost less than reducing the asking price of your home.
Regardless as to why you are selling your home, I want to be able to relieve some of the stress and confusion that comes with it. I am here for you.
- meeting with the home owners (and real estate agent, if desired)
- walk through of the home
- room measurements
- change of furniture layouts provided through drawn floor plans
- colour suggestions
- prioritized list of things to be done
- changes for increased curb appeal
- follow up when changes are made
- answer all questions and concerns
NOTE: one flat fee will be charged and is payable at the time of visit
Consultation and Contract Work
- all above mentioned consultation services (consultation fee will be waived)
- assist with de-personalizing, de-cluttering and neutralizing
- painting ( for an additional fee)
- follow up before an open house for any final "touch ups"
We will work within your budget.
Home owners are responsible for hiring, if needed, licensed professionals such as electricians, plumbers, painters (if so chosen) contractors or structural engineers.
Home owners will be asked to sign a contract on all agreed terms with a 50% deposit with all other monies to be paid when the contract is completed.
NOTE: We are not responsible for hiding or disguising any items that are need of repair such as electrical, plumbing, and structural or are a mold issue.
