A refreshing look, a repurposed room, a revived way of living...welcome home.

Home is where we laugh, love, relax and play. It is a place we go to at the end of each day to seek sanctuary and comfort because our home is more than just a roof over our heads. It is my belief that everyone deserves a space they can let their guard down and create memories that will last a lifetime. I want to be the person that will design your space in any style to fit your personal and family needs.

The focus of my design is reflective of and specific to phases of life and the occupants who live in it. I have been personally designing and decorating homes for the past thirty years. One was a brand new modern, condominium decorated to enhance he the “on the go” lifestyle of young professionals. Another was a one-story starter home made comfortable, cozy and safe for small children. Then, the large two-story home was created with several living areas where teenagers and their friends had semi-private areas to hang out. And finally, the “down-sized” home had many zones for entertaining and relaxing. Overall, regardless of style, I tried to include storage pieces to reduce clutter and accommodate eclectic furniture pieces and treasured accents.

My goal is to work with you and produce a space that you will be able to enjoy for many years.

Extended Bio

It has been my life-long passion to design and decorate spaces. I have helped friends and relatives meet their design goals while pursuing my first career. My voluntary free-lance work range from whole room decorating to filling a niche with the right accents to paint color consult. I have also done several home staging projects for real estate resident sale; one which went for $50,000 over the asking price and only shown at the broker’s open house!

My strength lies in my ability to look at things and see the possibilities. I can take an end table and give it a different look. I can move an unwanted computer table outside and, with a few embellishments, make it into a unique plant stand. I can repurpose items or update its look on a very small budget.

I earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree and, now, I am a graduate of the QC Design School in Design and Decorating. Please allow me to help you create a refreshing look, a repurposed room, a revived way of living…Welcome Home!

Purchasing my first house was a huge step for me, the biggest step in my adult life, or so I thought until I had to decorate. I wanted to start fresh and give my place a new look, so I ditched all the hand me down furniture I acquired during college and kept a few pieces. And while they were key items, my living room wasn't very livable. With the help of Doreen Min, I was able to achieve just the look I was going for, although I didn't know this at the time. I wanted my home to reflect my lifestyle of someone who is young, but responsible, professional, yet fun. Doreen listened to what I wanted and helped me pair a sophisticated leather couch with colorful patterned side chairs, a modern over-sized vase with delicate bamboo. To top everything off, the floor to ceiling drapes gave my home a dramatic yet soft and welcoming feel. Doreen made my vision a reality and made my first house a true home.
