True Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.
Hello. I'm Jocelyn Cella and I am 18 years old. I am working towards becoming a Freelance Makeup Artist, and eventually owning my own salon. I will be going to cosmetology school soon, and eventually will have my nail tech license as well. But right now, I am just working on the Makeup Artistry part of my business. My personal approach is to make the person wearing the makeup feel beautiful. I also have a very creative, outgoing and caring approach when it comes to my work.
Though I don't have much professional background, I have been applying makeup to myself since I was thirteen. I really started experimenting with makeup more when I was in 9th grade. I started a YouTube channel (BambiBeautyTV) and do tutorials for applying makeup. I am a recent graduate of high school, and am currently going to community college to get an entrepreneurship certificate. I first learned how to apply makeup from a Mary-Kay consultant, and from there, I am fully self taught. I have learned how to apply makeup from watching others on YouTube. I finally decided to enroll in the QC Makeup Academy so that I can start working as a Freelance Makeup Artist and follow my true passion.
Alright, so let me run down how a consultation will work:
1. Email or call me to set up a consultation day. If this is for prom or bridal makeup, you should call at least a month before the actually day you need me. If you decide to send me an email, please include the following: your name, what kind of makeup look you want, when you need me to do the makeup, and any allergies or medical conditions I should be aware of.
2. We will meet up two weeks before you actually need me for a preview of the makeup you will be wearing. I will bring some pictures of different makeup styles, and we will sample colors before actually applying the makeup to your face. This is the time where we can change things so it can be perfect for you.
3. After the consultation, it will be your special day!
Here are some services that I offer:
Day time looks
False lashes (though it does cost a few dollars extra)
For pricing, we can discuss this through email or phone, since it will depend on what you are looking for, and how far I have to go.
