MY NAME IS MARIA WIESE. I KNEW FROM THE TIME I WAS VERY YOUNG THAT I HAD BOTH A TALENT AND A PASSION FOR ORGANIZING, AND THIS WAS EVIDENT IN SCHOOL, ON THE JOB AND AT HOME. I WORKED IN THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FIELD FOR OVER 30 YEARS IN VARIOUS TECHNICAL AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT POSITIONS. THIS EXPERIENCE PROVIDED ME AN ENVIRONMENT TO HONE MY SKILLS FOR ORGANIZATION AND MULTITASKING. ALSO, AS THE MOTHER OF 3 BOYS AND A VERY BUSY PROFESSIONAL, I WAS ABLE TO KEEP MY WORK AND HOME LIFE RUNNING SMOOTHLY - ORGANIZED AND PRIORITIZED.
IN MY EXPERIENCE PROPER ORGANIZATION AT BOTH WORK AND HOME HAS HELPED ME, MY COWORKERS AND MY FAMILY TO LEAD CALMER AND LESS CHAOTIC LIVES AND CONTRIBUTED TO OUR WELL-BEING. I WOULD LIKE TO SHOW OTHER PEOPLE HOW TO WORK TOWARD THAT SAME GOAL.
Born in Colombia, South America, I moved to the US right after graduation and worked at several jobs until I started at Bank of America in my early 20’s. I worked in various IT (Information Technology) areas, eventually working my way up to a senior programmer which included not only technical responsibilities, but the managing of large, complex projects. I left IT for several years and worked for a mortgage company, organizing their office, including their IT infrastructure, and functioned as their translator for Spanish speaking clients. I then formed my own IT consulting company and went back to work as an independent contractor. I organized and ran testing efforts and managed the lab facilities for several IT companies until I finally “retired” about 3 years ago. However it’s not in my nature to stay idle. I decided to become a Certified Organizer and put my expertise to work helping others find ways to live a more organized, stress free life. I have started Tidy Spaces with this goal in mind.

Our comprehensive services include organization for all rooms in your home (bedrooms, kitchen, pantry, closets, garage, bathrooms, etc). We also do business and office organization including filing systems. Additionally, we provide help with moving preparation and home staging.
