This nice sized living room needed some relocation of furniture and some decluttering. The client's favorite color is purple :)

Now a cozy, cohesive, colorful and comfortable space, the client loves it!

The library was a strong selling point when the owners bought the house. However, because of its outdated and unwelcoming color and the poor lighting, it was never used. 

The owners and I worked together in choosing a soothing paint color. The chairs and console table were reused and the  table was part of an unused patio set stored in the basement. We added an ottoman, a 4x6 rug, and plantation shutters for the windows to complement the room and control light. Now the room is tranquil, warm, and inviting.

The owner and I went through the books together, and were able to reduce the number being replaced on the shelves to sell at a future garage sale. 

 I put her books on the left and his books on the right for easier access, and put books by the same authors in groups. A pop of red adds visual interest to the shelves.

For only $200 dollars in accessories and two hours of my time, this cold and unwelcoming waiting room becomes a warm and inviting space. (Note: The artwork and clock were purchased previously by the client.)

This client wanted to turn an extra bedroom into a workout area. Her request for the closet storage space breakdown was 90% workout equipment, 5% guest, and 5% seasonal clothes storage. The total cost of the storage items was $32 and took one and a half hours of my time.

In this before and after picture, I wanted to show how a minor change in furniture arrangement can make a big impact! 

 Before, all furniture was on the left side of the room, looking very heavy on that side while leaving one wall entirely empty. Simply by moving the sofa table to the blank wall, adding a second lamp for symmetry, and moving the TV into the niche so the fireplace becomes the focal point, the  room is transformed. Zero dollars for accessories and one hour of my time!

This den has good bones, but needs some color!

With the addition of persimmon ottomans, some decorative pillows and throw, and new lighting, the room feels cozy, comfortable and bright. 

Before putting her home up for sale, this client requested a memorable update. I chose a dramatic color for the door that potential buyers will admire and, more importantly, remember! Buyers will see multiple listings, so it's important to make your house stand out from the others. This makeover cost $100 in paint and accessories and three hours of my time.

This family room makeover is the ideal example of the value of decluttering and proper furniture placement.

For this client, I spray painted the old wicker for a clean look that appears brand new. Working from the color palette they chose, I've created a cozy, comfortable place to relax outdoors. Supplies and accessories cost $250 and five hours of my time.
