My name is Wanda Bullerwell and I've lived and worked in Kingston, Nova Scotia, for almost 20 years, after moving from the Annapolis Royal area, where I was born and lived until that time. I'm currently working at 14 Wing Greenwood as a clerk but I have worked at a local law firm in the past as well. I enjoy my job but was looking for something more creative, and in my research I discovered home staging and knew that it would be a perfect fit for me. I don’t like clutter and disorganization and have a great sense and flair for renovating and decorating. That combined with my excellent people skills will give me the cutting edge now that I'm opening up a new home staging and redesign business in the area, calling it Makes Sense Home Staging and Redesign.
For as long as I can remember I have been interested in reorganizing, rearranging furniture, designing and renovating spaces, etc. I dreamed of becoming an interior designer/decorator but never followed through on it. When I recently contemplated a change in career and started doing some research, home staging seemed like a perfect fit for me. People have always commented on how much they love my home and what we have done to it and how it is decorated, so I know I will enjoy transforming other people’s homes into something they will love and appreciate, and my husband will be happy that my passion is appeased at someone else’s expense. With my pleasant personality and great people skills, along with my desire to help people get the most of their homes regardless of whether they are selling or staying, I feel I can make a huge difference in people’s lives. I look forward to having this opportunity to use my creative skills while meeting and dealing with interesting people.
I have a bad case of OCD when it comes to clutter and disorganization. When I’m surfing Kijiji for items, I won’t even take a second look if there is a mess surrounding the item for sale.
