Marriages by Monique was founded in 2010 and is a full Wedding Planning service agency
Planning your wedding is a personal and exciting time. My passion and experience in planning weddings is reflected in the care and attention given to all my clients.
No two couples are alike and as such everyone is unique with their own hopes and dreams for their big day.
It is important to me that your wedding is exactly as you have imagined and the day should be a reflection of your relationship, style and personalities. Marriages by Monique have sourced a range of vendors for each aspect of your big day.

I began my career in the hospitality industry, in Event Planning in 2009, and soon fell in love with the wedding planning aspects of my job. In 2011, after graduating with an International Diploma in Wedding Planning, i decided to venture out on my own and open Marriages by Monique. It was my dream to provide clients with quality wedding planning they could trust at an affordable rate. After working in the event industry for the past 2 years; I have established a reputation of being dependable and trustworthy, have produced many marriages, and maintains working relationships with many of Aucklands top wedding professionals. I see each wedding as a unique opportunity to design the experience of a lifetime. Let me take your marriage beyond an event to create a priceless memory.

Services

*****Full service coordination*****
This option is for the bride that wants to relax and enjoy the wedding planning process. All she has to do is select her preference of the options offered by wedding professionals and he wedding planner handles the rest (meetings, details, timing, etc.). This option includes:
• Complimentary Initial Consultation
• Budget Creation
• Establish Timeline
• Organize visitation of and advise on site selection (limit of 4 site visits, same day).
• Provide Vendor recommendations, collect quotes and review contracts.
• Attendance at 3 vendor meetings of your choice (Caterer, florist, DJ, etc.)
• Create wedding day Itinerary.
• Create floor plan/ seating chart.
• Co-Produce creative development of ceremony (event design).
• On-going updates in wedding trends and creative ideas as needed.
• Continuous correspondence
• 1 Hour of consultation one month before the wedding.
• Create wedding day Itinerary.
• Organize and structure wedding processional.
• Confirmation on vendor arrangements.
• Up to 25 hours of onsite directing/ coordination for wedding, rehearsal and reception (which includes):
o Arriving Early to supervise/ assist vendors in delivery and set up.
o Coordinating the rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and reception.
o Facilitate timing in accordance with the itinerary (formal introductions, cake cutting, etc.).
o Bring the “Bridal Lifesaver Kit.”
o Assist in gathering gifts, personal items, clothing and décor, etc. after the event.

*****Event planning and coordination*****
For the bride that has already done some of the planning (budgeting, timing, location, etc.), but would like some assistance in choosing reputable vendors and a little guidance on how to design her event, as well as a coordinator to keep things organized and running smoothly the day of. This option includes the following services:
• Complimentary initial consultation.
• Provide Vendor recommendations, collect quotes and review contracts.
• Attendance at 3 vendor meetings of your choice (Caterer, florist, DJ, etc.).
• Create wedding day Itinerary.
• Create floor plan/ seating chart.
• Co-produce creative development of wedding and reception (event design).

*****Day of Coordination*****
This level assistance is for the bride that has completed all of the planning, design, and vendor selections one month or more in advance. All this bride needs is a professional wedding coordinator to step in and tie her vision together. I use the information that you provide to make sure your event goes exactly as you’ve planned. This option includes the following services:
• Complimentary initial consultation.
• 1 Hour of consultation one month before the wedding.
• Create wedding day Itinerary.
• Organize and structure wedding processional.
• Confirmation on vendor arrangements.
• Up to 25 hours of onsite directing/ coordination for wedding, rehearsal and reception (which includes):
o Arriving Early to supervise/ assist vendors in delivery and set up.
o Coordinating the rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and reception.
Facilitate timing in accordance with the itinerary (formal introductions, cake cutting, etc.).
o Bring the “Bridal Lifesaver Kit.”
o Assist in gathering gifts, personal items, clothing and décor, etc. after the event.

I also offer ceremony only coordination and hourly consultations upon request.
