My name is Samantha Warhurst and I have always enjoyed throwing parties for my friends and family, everything from getting the idea, to planning, to enjoying the day.
When one of my close friends got married in early 2010, my husband as the best man, I was asked to help the groom and his groomsmen get ready and get them to the wedding. As the wedding day approached, the bride whose stress levels were starting to climb asked me to help out with a few more factors on the day, such as picking up flowers, hitting play on the cd player at all the right times, making sure her grandparents were comfortably seated at the ceremony and I even had to run out of the chapel in a formal dress to stop the bride from arriving as her mother hadn’t arrived yet…as well as a few other lose ends to tie up
The wedding went perfectly and I’m not ashamed to say that I did cry, everything was so beautiful and I was very proud to have been able to help them on such a memorable day. It was this event that made me decide to start a wedding planning business and since then I have started a course at the QC School of Wedding and Event Planning and haven’t looked back.
I believe that every event or wedding is different and needs to be viewed and planned as such with unique aspects to suit any individual or couple. It’s been truly amazing to find a job that I enjoy with my whole heart, from the happy moments, even to the crunch time stress filled moments, I can honestly say I love every moment and look forward to planning events in the future.

Have everything planned but don't want to worry about minor details on the day...who will pick up the flowers, who will play the music at the right time, make sure the reception hall is ready...I can take care of everything for you, from the moment you start to get ready until that last dance at your reception.

Sam helped organize the groom party as well as a few things during the wedding and was very helpful keeping things running smoothly. She was a great help and fantastic at keeping me calm on the day and completing tasks with short notice with efficiency. She also did a great job helping my lovely new wife choosing the colours for our suits.
