Planning services for that once-in-a-while or once-in-a-lifetime special event

I grew up in Southern Ontario and moved to the beautiful province of New Brunswick in 2010, and feel so lucky to have found this perfect piece of Canada. I have been planning events in the not-for-profit field for the past 7 years. I'm an super organized individual who thinks outside the box and only wants to provide the very best planning service for any type of event. I will go beyond expectations to bring your special event to life.

My speciality has been museums - doing everything from developing exhibitions to organizing children’s day camp activities. What I always enjoyed most of all was planning the special events. Early on in my museum career, I was asked to help out with these events. I enjoyed the process so much, I then took every opportunity to volunteer to be the event planner. My reputation followed me, and for the past few years, I have been the go-to person in the museum when a special event was to be organized.
During my University years, I worked as an Event Consultant with Roy-Al Rentals in Guelph, Ontraio. This position gave me invaluable experience in working with people planning weddings. My exceptional customer service skills were proven during that time. As well as consulting with couples to bring their perfect wedding day to realization, I have been the driving force behind exhibit openings, corporate parties and personal family parties, such as 50th birthdays. While working in the UK, I planned an extremely successful Night at the Museum event which included activities for children, performers, star-gazing, formal auditorium talks and hands-on learning experiences for over 1,000 attendees. I love the process of taking an event concept, and bringing all the right people and supplies together to create a successful and memorable event.
As well as having over 7 years experience in event planning, with an undergraduate and post-graduate degree in Museum Management, I will soon be a qualified International Event and Wedding Professional and aim to fulfill the expectations of this privileged title.
