Decadence Events is a fresh face in the wedding and event planning industry on the southern part of Vancouver Island. Our mission is to provide the highest level of professionalism while creating your most enjoyable, memorable events.
Allow me to introduce myself and Decadence Events. My name is Lauren Prenevost and I am from Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island B.C. I am currently in the process of completing my IWPP (International Wedding Planning Professional) Certification and am very excited to apply my experience in an industry I care so much about. My interest in the planning field started young when I headed the Events Planning committee on Grad Council during high school. From there I furthered my experience by achieving my diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 2007. Since then I have worked for a couple different major hotels chains such as Westin and Delta Hotels, within their food and beverage and banquet catering departments. All of these have contributed greatly to my knowledge and love for the hospitality and service industry.
Creating Decadence Events has been a new and exciting endeavor for me, and I know with my enthusiasm and drive will work extra hard to ensure the perfect final product.

Whether you are planning a corporate team building event, conference, holiday party, casino night, school function, gala fundraiser, wedding, holiday party, birthday party or any other type of event, be it large or small, we can provide any and all aspects. Each event is personalized to suit your wants and needs, just give us the vision and we will execute it!
