• Marketing/PR account management for international, national and regional clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to specific audiences:
Experience in writing and designing layouts for publication, e.g. press releases, newsletters, competitions, website copy, dynamic emails and sponsorship proposals. Experience in verbal communication/interpersonal skills: with stakeholders; working with the media to maximise promotion for Marketing/PR client accounts; client relations with event management and sponsors liaison.
• Broad understanding and experience of event project management: planning, prioritising issues, implementing and managing multiple international, national and regional events including: Conferences; Dinners; Receptions; European Pharmaceutical industry meetings; B2B Exhibitions; Fashion Shows; Photo-shoots; Press Office at Earls Court; Private Views; Award Ceremony; Product launches; Music Recitals; Concerts and an Opera. Events locations included: the Barcelo Valencia, Sheraton CDG Paris, Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge; the National Portrait Gallery, London; Earls Court, London and the Duchy of Cornwall’s offices, London.
• Sponsorship: raising funds through project development, management and liaison with clients.
• Self-motivated; highly organised and extremely efficient at time management and project issue prioritisation. Excellent at project planning, administration, project management and delivery; great attention to detail and a very flexible working attitude. Ability to juggle multiple assignments and customer needs simultaneously to achieve a highly successful outcome. A pro-active team member with a ‘can-do’ attitude; identifies and acts on solutions for issues; works well in busy and challenging business environments – a willingness to ‘muck in’ for the good of the whole team and project, enjoys a challenge.
• Computer skills: Adobe Photoshop; Publisher; In Design; Quark Express; Dreamweaver; Media Disk; Power Point; Outlook; MS Word; MS Excel; MS Access; document exchange software (PDF) and many other industry systems, e.g. travel bookings, expenses, budgeting, stationery orders, meeting room bookings, libraries of large databases and eRooms.
