Event Planner, Wedding Planner
Stoke On Trent
Plan-It Ellie for events that are out of this world!
I am a 31 year old aspiring Event and Wedding Planner based in Stoke-on-Trent. My aim is to help my clients achieve the event of a lifetime without the added pressure and stress usually involved in planning an important event. I bring my own individual style to each event that I plan along with youthful energy and enthusiasm. I am naturally an organised person in both my personal and professional life and will strive to exceed any customer’s expectations!
The majority of my career has been based in the Recruitment Industry where I gained tremendous experience working with people to achieve the end result efficiently and professionally. I was required to communicate with people at all levels which included giving company presentations to blue chip companies at Director level where I had to sell the company and myself effectively in order to obtain their business. The Recruitment Industry heavily involved working to timescales and deadlines thus the key emphasis was always on organisational skills and planning your schedule to achieve the finished result.
Flexibility is a must in the Event and Wedding Planning Industry and it requires you to organise your life around the business and to be able to be available at a moment’s notice. This is not dissimilar to the recruitment industry where I was on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In February 2011, I held a Charity event to raise funds for a ward at the local hospital. The event came about after my husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2010 and I wanted to give something back to the wonderful people who had helped him through his treatment. As my husband and I are both musical, the obvious choice was to organise and plan a ‘Music Charity Night’ involving local bands and artists who would offer their services ‘free of charge’ along with approaching a range of local businesses to donate various raffle prizes. To my amazement the event was a huge success and we raised in excess of one thousand pounds. Due to the triumph of the Music Charity Night and the ‘rave’ reviews in the local press I decided to pursue a career in Event and Wedding Planning, and the initial step towards achieving this goal was to enrol onto the QC Event and Wedding Planning course.
Plan-It Ellie will plan, organise and co-ordinate anything from a small individual event such as a family birthday party to a corporate event such as a conference or even a Wedding fit for a King or Queen. No event is too big or too small as it’s what is important to you, the customer, that counts.
As each event is different and unique a tailored no obligation quote can be supplied upon request. If you are unsure about various aspects of your requirements I will endeavour to assist you with the creative ideas in order to achieve your perfect event.
