Delightfully Inspired Events - Where planning meets elegance
I am a bright, cheery person who loves to throw parties and host events! I have been helping with parties since I was ten years old, when I would help my mom and other family members throw parties for our friends for special occasions. As I have gotten older, I have begun planning parties and events on my own, and I love it so much that I want to share my knowledge and experience with the public!
I have over 10 years experience with party planning and coordination. I have completed numerous event planning courses, and I am in the process of getting my International Event and Wedding Planning certification.
Before I started event planning professionally, I received my Bachelor's Degree in English Language Arts Education from Troy University. Currently I still teach in the public school system here in Dothan while I build up my event planning business. I also do some freelance writing for various companies.
While it may sound like I'm too busy to efficiently handle your event, I have always believed that busy people get more done because they are used to staying busy. I offer a variety of services, ranging from full-service wedding planning and coordination to simply ceremony coordination. The following is a breakdown of my services and how they work.
Consultation - every package I offer starts off with a free consultation. This gives both potential clients and I a chance to get to know each other, discuss the plans for the event, discuss expectations, and decide if we would like to work together.
Consultant - Because some clients prefer to handle things themselves, I offer a simple consultation package, which includes access to all of my party planning resources and vendors. The difference is that the client is the one actually doing all the planning and coordinating. All I would do is use my education and experience to recommend certain vendors, event ideas, and so on.
Ceremony Coordinator - This package is geared toward weddings. It is for clients that may have everything already planned or who want to plan everything themselves. All I would do is be there to coordinate the ceremony itself. This involves making sure everyone walks on time, that the minister is prepared, and other details to make sure the ceremony goes off without a hitch.
Reception Coordinator - This package puts to use my expertise to make sure the reception flows the way it should. I will make sure all the major events (introduction of the new couple, feeding all the guests, cutting the cake, dances, garter toss, throwing of the bouquet, etc) take place in an orderly fashion so that you can focus on enjoying the party and you don't lose any guests between eating and dancing.
Ceremony and Reception Coordinator - Includes everything mentioned in the Ceremony Coordinator and the Reception Coordinator.
Full-Service Planning and Coordination - This is the most popular choice for clients. It includes unlimited consultations, and I will plan everything, down to the smallest detail. For weddings, I will deal with the vendors, the invitations, the decorations, the rings, the honeymoon, and anything else requested. It also includes coordinating the rehearsal, wedding, and reception. For other events I will deal with vendors, plan any part of the event needed (which will vary depending on the event), and generally take care of everything. With this package you will not have to worry about a thing.
