I have an Associate of Arts degree and a Texas Real Estate License. I have been in the real estate business and legal profession since 1990. During this time, however,
I have planned many events. I started off doing corporate events such as office Christmas parties and banquets, each of which consisted of 100 or more guests. My event planning extended into large, high-end quinceneras, in which both of those events carried over 300 guests. It entailed many things that a wedding would. I have chaired several auctions and fundraisers for St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, and have also planned large block parties for the Home Owner's Association while serving on the Board of Directors for the Lakes of Somerset subdivision in Colleyville, Texas.
As my children went off to college and I became an empty nester, I knew I wanted to do something that I truly enjoyed. My heart was set on Event Planning, so I got my certification as an IEWP (International Event & Wedding Planning Professional.)
