At And Something Blue I make it possible for you, the Bride, to affordably plan the wedding of your dreams. And on your Wedding Day you can focus on yourself, your Groom and the cherished memories both of you want to keep forever – I will take care of the details (and the stress!) so you can enjoy your Perfect Day. My desire is to help you turn your vision into a beautiful, personalized and memorable celebration.

As owner and certified wedding coordinator of And Something Blue, Kelly Kicklighter, offers you consultation on the wedding process and specifics, including theme and décor, event sites, vendor selection, site layout and timeline planning. After working in the hospitality industry for over 12 years, with the last five years in catering, I have established relationships with numerous Charleston vendors and have developed insight about many of the area’s different and varied venues. Also I learned how to combine my creativity and flexibility, as well as my organizational and problem solving skills, and then how to apply them to coordinate and manage wedding events – traditional or unique, casual or formal, lavish or modest. It’s all about you, and I want your wedding day to go perfectly from start to finish.

Services

It is said that the average Bride will spend 275 to 750 hours preparing her wedding! My focus is to help the “hands-on” Bride through the tediously time-consuming and exciting process of planning her own wedding. My passion is to ease the pressure and stress associated with the planning, and with the actual “Day of” event. The following services are offered.

“We’ve Only Just Begun” – Two hour “How to Begin” Planning Session - $75.00
You’ve become engaged, now “Where do you begin”? “How soon do you begin”? During this session I will listen to your vision and desires, and will answer your many questions. My advice and planning expertise are completely available to you, and we’ll discuss what’s most important to you. We’ll touch on themes and design trends, cultural considerations, traditions, venues, vendors and budget. You will leave equipped with a And Something Blue complete wedding planning guide and a “build-as-you-go” idea scrapbook.

“Almost Paradise” – Two hour “Your almost there” Detailing Session - $75.00
Most of the planning is complete, décor/flowers, menu and music have been selected, wedding attire has been ordered, vendors and venues have been contracted. During this session I will assist you with any “loose ends” you might want help with, and will assist you with the actual, to scale, floor plan layout of your reception venue. It is my desire to affordably help you every step of the way.

“From This Moment On” – Two weeks before your Wedding & the “Day of” Coordination – $500.00
Now all the special details and vendors involved in your Special Day need to be pulled together. We will meet two weeks before your Wedding Day to develop/review the “Day of” timeline, all the décor details, and the roles and responsibilities of all the participants. From that moment until you and your Groom leave the reception, I will provide the following services:
•Meeting at the wedding and reception sites
•Development of a detailed wedding timeline
•Collection of contracts and contact information of all vendors, and will communicate my name and number as the “Go-to” person for the “Day of”.
•Collection of names and key responsibilities of Bridal Party and family members
•Provide up to one hour for Coordination at the Ceremony Rehearsal
•Ceremony and Reception site set-up – arriving sufficiently early to supervise site set-up, vendor arrivals, and décor set-up
•Provide up to eight hours for the on-site “Day of” Ceremony and Reception Coordination, to include adherence to timeline and over-site of vendor performance (an additional $50.00 charge will be added for additional hours)
•Provide one support staff member, if needed(additional staff will be an additional $50.00 each).

*If you need assistance preparing welcome bags, favors and/or programs I am able to assist for an additional $50.00/hr.

*A 20% retainer fee will be obtained at the contract signing
