Jane Calvert Kellogg
Let us put the Golden Touch on your memorable event!
Known for my 2010 Gala Evening Event, raising $90,000.00 for Children’s Hospital Boston, as founder of “The Charlie Fund” now featured on the Hospital Lobby Wall, my years of customer service in the Decorating and Retail Field, and planning events for friends and family, I , Jane Calvert Kellogg devote my expertise and experience to making your event exclusive and memorable. “Golden” just brings to mind a magnificent color and the pear has always been a favorite icon, as a visual and a fruit. The combination of high quality vision and sweet, entertaining participation will make your unique event one to remember for years to come.
I began my Event Planning experience on Cape Cod in the late 1980’s as Rear Commodore for a Yacht Club wherein I proposed and executed the first Clambake they had for 10 years and it was the most attended event they had in 12 years! I received a reward for my service. I have years of experience as a business owner and buyer, as a customer service Manager for Anthropologie assisting famous clients, and in the home decorating business. Recent events that I planned include; an Engagement Party in downtown Boston, a Rehearsal Dinner, an after wedding Brunch, a funeral reception, and numerous family occasions. For 2 years, I helped organize and execute a Chinese Auction fundraiser for 250-350 people, making 80 of the 225 baskets myself. “The Charlie Fund” event I planned, solicited, managed and made all of the Silent Auction Baskets for. The Event was attended by 250 people, with 120 Silent and Live Auction Items held at an Antique Car Museum with a Rubik’s cube heart theme, the logo designed by my daughter, a RISD graduate.
I am offering top customer service for all of your Event needs; Wedding, Rehearsal Dinner, Family Birthday, Reunion, Kids Event, Brunch, Meeting casual and formal, Anniversaries, Holiday Party, Small Business Events, nothing is too small. Any level of help needed, just consult, or planning session, on site managing. A free consult is available with a large event (100 people plus) and a cost plus percentage fee. Hourly rates apply to a small (50 people or less), or medium event (50-100 people), plus a consult fee. I have great connections for Non-Profit Events, as I have done my own and am Founder of my own Non-Profit Fund. The area that I plan to serve is the Boston Metrowest area; Wellesley, Weston, Needham, Dover, Newton and will travel to the North Shore or Cape Cod (and the islands) for a travel fee.
Working with Jane for a variety of the events surrounding our wedding was an absolute pleasure. She has a wonderful eye and a natural ability to plan an event that represents who you are. Always on top of things and extremely detailed oriented, she leaves nothing to chance! Without Jane our engagement party, rehearsal dinner and brunch would not have been the events that they were and the memories that they will be in the future.
